Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight safely and efficiently across Massachusetts and New England
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt to variable schedules and weather conditions while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and occasional weekends
