Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks, delivery records, and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Represent the company professionally at job sites and with the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Required).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (Preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
