Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on highways and local roads.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of cargo to clients across Georgia and Florida.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections per DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation.
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate operations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
