Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch for route optimization and customer communication
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Albuquerque metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving
- Basic computer skills for logging systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
