Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Virginia and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate electronic logbooks and DOT compliance documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with logistics team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adhere to all federal/state transportation regulations and company policies
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong navigation skills and map reading abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- No preventable accidents in the last 3 years
