Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring product integrity during transit.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and scheduled delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL issued by the state of Arizona (or willingness to obtain one via our training program).
- Current DOT Medical Card and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and DOT compliance standards.
- Basic mechanical skills to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Willingness to travel regionally and work flexible hours including weekends.
