Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated individuals to operate commercial vehicles in and around the Memphis area. Your primary focus will be the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Tractor-Trailer, Straight Truck, or Van) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment (dolly, straps, etc.) to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle status (EOBR).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the proper endorsements.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and be able to pass a DOT drug screen and physical.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform routine vehicle checks.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
