Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to deliver freight on time
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to traffic laws
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain proper documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego metro area geography
- DOT medical certification current
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
