Responsibilities
Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations across New York.Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution.Verify delivery contents against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy and completeness.Inspect vehicle condition before, during, and after routes, reporting any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Provide excellent customer service and professional communication during deliveries.
Qualifications
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL Required) with a clean driving record.Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable professional driving experience.Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner's Certificate.Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.Strong knowledge of New York traffic laws and road conditions.Basic mechanical skills to perform minor vehicle checks.Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
