Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods safely and on schedule across KY/IL routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Manage route optimization and time-sensitive deliveries
- Maintain clean driving record and report maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of KY/IL road networks and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Previous experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
