Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on designated local and regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (DOT, BOL, Delivery Receipts).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at each delivery stop.
Qualifications
- Valid US Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of New York City and regional delivery routes is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict time schedules.
