Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during handling.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and the public.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow strict delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrivals at customer locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial environment.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and negative drug screen.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
