Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods throughout San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Handle temperature-sensitive or high-value cargo with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- DOT medical certification current
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of San Diego geography preferred
