Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local and regional delivery routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using fleet management software
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area roadways
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Pass background check and drug screening
