Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as required.
- Maintain accurate logs and digital records of hours of service and delivery status.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve any delivery issues or complaints on-site.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
