Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and refrigerated) to deliver goods across NC/GA routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation via electronic logging systems
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of NC/GA road networks and weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
