Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods within Texas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logs per DOT regulations
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
- Secure cargo properly and handle documentation (bills of lading)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Texas highway system and delivery zones
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Strong communication and time-management skills
