Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled weekend routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Handle fragile or high-value cargo with specialized care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts required)
- Familiarity with San Jose Bay Area routes
- DOT medical certification
- Basic inventory management skills
