Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across San Antonio and surrounding areas
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely weekend deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio area roadways
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer skills for delivery tracking systems
