Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for weekend delivery routes
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and route optimization tools
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time delivery adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Flexibility to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
- Basic familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
