Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles for timely weekend deliveries
- Inspect/maintain trucks pre/post-trip to meet DOT standards
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Manage delivery documentation and customer signatures
- Adhere to route optimization for maximum efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Uphold strict safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license (required)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations (past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Knowledge of Sacramento metro area geography
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and TWIC card (preferred)
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun shifts)
