Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Deliver freight to designated locations with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining a professional demeanor with customers.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, incidents, and vehicle conditions using electronic logging devices (ELD).
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the required endorsements (Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as required by business needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
