Responsibilities
- Operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Maintain 100% compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate loading/unloading
- Resolve delivery exceptions with exceptional customer service
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and mileage reports
- Participate in quarterly safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento metro area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) and occasional holidays
