Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including box trucks and tractor-trailers, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company standards.
- Load and secure cargo efficiently, verifying inventory against delivery manifests.
- Navigate complex routes, including cross-border logistics between Nevada and California, in a timely manner.
- Interact professionally with customers, warehouses, and team members to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Uphold the company's reputation for reliability and punctuality in every delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B required (Class A preferred for long-haul).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Current DOT Medical Card and proof of insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
