As a key member of our logistics network, you will ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations in the Albuquerque area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting any mechanical issues or damage.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo according to safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and handling delivery documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Report accidents or incidents immediately to the Fleet Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 1 moving violation in the last 3 years).
- Current DOT medical card and physical certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong knowledge of local Albuquerque routes and geography.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
