Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on multi-state routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time route adjustments and customer communications
- Handle freight loading/unloading with proper equipment and safety procedures
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Report maintenance issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
