Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to NYC metropolitan area clients
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery-related issues professionally
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight using equipment (pallet jacks, dollies)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
- Assist in warehouse operations during off-peak hours as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
