Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) following all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of materials.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate any delays or issues to dispatch immediately to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to undergo paid CDL training if you hold a license but lack experience.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
