Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete daily delivery paperwork accurately.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle any delivery inquiries or complaints.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and route planning.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends or overnight shifts if necessary.
