Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods across Georgia
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload cargo with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS navigation systems
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Comply with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A/B) - training provided if needed
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Basic math skills for documentation and route planning
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
