Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods safely and efficiently during overnight hours
- Plan and optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet tight deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Verify delivery documentation and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team about route challenges and ETA updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Diego County geography and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
