Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods and materials on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with route optimization and timely problem resolution
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- No experience required - comprehensive training provided
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and DOT-mandated drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic navigation knowledge and smartphone proficiency
