Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling deliveries with care and providing excellent service.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery records and mileage as required by DOT regulations.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willing to obtain with sponsorship).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company procedures and routes.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
