Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks and tractor-trailers on designated routes in Tucson and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs and pickups.
- Keep the cargo area organized and secure during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be willing and able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of local Tucson, AZ geography and street routes.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
