Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) to deliver goods safely and on time to designated locations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment, ensuring securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel during delivery and pickup.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws in the San Antonio metropolitan area.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
