As a Night Shift Delivery Driver, you will ensure our fleet remains on schedule while navigating the busy New York routes. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans during night hours to ensure on-time delivery.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Load and unload cargo with efficiency and care, adhering to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate digital logs (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex urban routes.
- Ability to lift and handle freight packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
