Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) to deliver goods on assigned night routes
- Verify shipment accuracy and maintain delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch for route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Memphis area
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and communication skills
