Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vans in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload merchandise according to safety standards.
- Verify cargo against delivery manifests and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery locations.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and log maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic math and reading skills for paperwork.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
