Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles for overnight freight delivery
- Load/unload cargo using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and log maintenance
- Navigate Chicago metro area and regional highways efficiently
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and manifests
- Communicate with dispatch team via mobile devices
- Support warehouse operations during loading/unloading
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- 1+ year experience in freight/delivery driving
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility to work 10 PM - 6 AM schedule
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile apps
- Strong knowledge of Chicago area geography
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Forklift certification preferred
