Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles for time-sensitive freight delivery across Seattle metropolitan area
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and delivery exceptions
- Uphold strict safety protocols and DOT compliance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and operate in all weather conditions
- Passive or active TWIC card for port access
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
- DOT physical certification and mandatory drug testing clearance
