Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for overnight deliveries throughout Miami-Dade County
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and ensure 100% compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and meet strict deadlines
- Handle high-value freight with precision and professionalism
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route adjustments and traffic avoidance
- Represent the company with exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and operate in varying weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and mobile technology
- Strong knowledge of Miami-Dade roadways and delivery protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
