Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles for safe, on-time deliveries of goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route adjustments and priority deliveries
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with NC geography
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for delivery documentation systems
