Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on precise overnight schedules
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document all maintenance needs
- Utilize GPS routing systems to optimize delivery efficiency across Las Vegas metropolitan area
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) shipments with DOT-compliant protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic manifest documentation
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for precise loading/unloading procedures
- Implement defensive driving techniques in all weather conditions
- Communicate shipment status via telematics systems to dispatch center
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year OTR or regional driving experience
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Las Vegas metro routes and industrial zones
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strict safety standards
