Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) for nighttime freight delivery across Jacksonville metropolitan area
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and inventory documentation using digital tracking systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route optimization and delivery confirmations
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-sensitive and high-value shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Jacksonville roadways
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card preferred
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with weekend availability
