As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their work and value safety above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with all DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, manifests).
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check will be conducted).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Previous experience in logistics or freight delivery is preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 100 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of New York City traffic patterns and routes is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery data.
