Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) for regional deliveries
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet tight schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (eLD compliant)
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong navigation skills and route planning knowledge
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends as needed
- Experience with eLD systems preferred
