Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Utilize GPS routing systems for efficient navigation through LA's complex traffic patterns
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and update ETAs
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures and secure cargo according to DOT regulations
- Maintain professional customer relations during delivery interactions
- Complete electronic delivery documentation and maintain digital records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and operate manual pallet jacks
- Familiarity with LA metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong time-management skills and attention to safety protocols
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
