Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks and vans in a safe, efficient, and legally compliant manner to deliver cargo to designated locations across the Las Vegas valley.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load & Unload: Securely load and unload merchandise, ensuring cargo is handled with care and placed in the correct delivery zones.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork, ensuring all regulatory compliance (DOT) is met.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries, optimizing travel time where possible.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and hazardous material protocols as required.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Experience: Previous driving experience is a plus; however, we offer training for candidates with a valid CDL and a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems effectively.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
