Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transit to prevent damage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (or be willing to undergo our training program).
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
