Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B delivery vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records, mileage logs, and delivery paperwork (Bills of Lading and PODs).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients while adhering to strict time windows.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, road safety, and route planning.
- Physical capability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
